Abandoned Building to be Community Center

Locals in Coggon, Iowa are happy to hear that an abandoned school is being turned into a community hub. The Coggon Area Betterment Association has worked hard to “bring new life” to the old building. There is cracked paint and evidence of aging everywhere in the building. Many volunteers have worked with the association to help in cleaning the building. There will be many different activities available in this building. It will also include a 24 hour fitness center and a thrift store.
